Here's the thing. I'm not great with commitment - and that includes storylines. I have urges to rp different things and what I'm in the mood for - if I'm in the mood for anything - varies. That isn't to say I don't enjoy a good RP tryst now and then and if it happens to evolve into something more...? Let's just say I won't be complaining.
So! I thought I'd get that out into the open before I got to any of the good stuff. My rp style is storybook, meaning third person and past present tense. I like angst and drama and mature themes in general. I don't do celeb rp and I don't like to do holiday lines and things of that nature. Also, romance isn't a requirement for me to be interested in a storyline. I've listed my preferred pairings just in case romance is involved but if you're wanting something romance-free then I can do that. Note: I work in an office so I'm not on AIM during the day during a business week. Threading works great for me because of this schedule, but I can also play over AIM at night. I can respond to threads during the day as well.

Imagine a Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Bourne Identity, The Saint, Tomb Raider, Charlie's Angels type of thing. Guns, fighting, intense stand offs or getaways, ulterior motives, major plot twists...the works. Specifics can be decided on one-on-one if you have any interest.
buffy the vampire slayer
Who I Play: My main characters are Drusilla and Faith, although I do try my hand at Buffy from time to time.
Pairings: Buffy/Angel, Drusilla/Spike, Faith/Buffy, Faith/Spike.
Etc.: I didn't watch Angel the Series so I know next-to-nothing about it. Just a heads up in case you're interested in doing some kind of crossover or want to play an AtS character against one of mine.
dawson's creek
Who I Play: Dawson, Jen, Joey, Pacey
Pairings: Dawson/Joey, Jen/Henry, Jen/Pacey, Joey/Pacey
Etc.: I've only seen seasons 1-3, although I'm trying to watch the rest on DVD.
harry potter
Who I Play: Hermione, although I'm open to trying others.
Pairings: Hermione/Ron, obv.
Etc.: I haven't tried a Harry Potter PSL but I've played in communities before. It's something I'm interested in trying.
historical / starcrossed lovers
Think Tristan and Isolde, Troy, Romeo and Juliet, The Man in the Iron Mask, King Arthur. Two people who love each other but are kept apart by circumstances of their surroundings. I don't want this to be set in modern times. I imagine it being set in a country where there is some kind of war or national struggle of some sort going on. I would like to play the male in this storyline.

pirates of the caribbean
Who I Play: Elizabeth Swann, Will Turner, Captain Barbossa. I also have an original character I'd be interested in finding a storyline for, preferably with Jack Sparrow. A quick bio: She was taken from her home in Barbados by the East India Trading Company to be sold into slavery. While en route she was inadvertently rescued by Jack Sparrow, who at the time was having a brush with Lord Beckett. Further details and circumstances can be decided later if anyone's interested.
Pairings: Elizabeth/Jack, Elizabeth/Will, Original/Jack.
Etc: I'm up for anything relating to this fandom. I'd even be interested in playing two totally original characters and just using the POTC universe as a backdrop.

Etc.: I've never actually had a Twilight based storyline but I'm eager to try it out.
zombie
I had a zombie based PSL with someone I'd met on GJ. I played a war veteran played by John Leguizamo and they played a teenage boy who lived in the same apartment building. If you're on this server and interested in rekindling that line then please contact me!
Anyway, the title speaks for itself. I'm interested in some kind of zombie storyline (think 28 Days Later or Dawn of the Dead).
